Curried Sausages...

Sausages and frozen spinach's...these are the two things that always consume my freezer space.Purpose-feed my surprise guests! :-)

Here' my adaptation of Curried Sausages from Hot food.

Turkey /Beef/pork Sausages-8-10 thick pieces

Grated Ginger-2 teaspoons
Garlic Cloves crushed-3nos
Onion-1
Meat Masala-2 tablespoon
Garam Masala-1 teaspoon
Turmeric Powder-1/4 teaspoon
Chilly powder-1 teaspoon
Tomato Paste-2 teaspoon
All purpose Flour-1 tablespoon
Hot chicken stock-preferably home made-21/2 cup
Bay leaves-2
Oil for cooking
Cook the sausages and remove from the heat and allow them to cool in the water, then drain, pat and dry cut into 3/4 th inch pieces.

Heat the oil in a large frying pan over high heat and fry the sausages for 2-3 minutes or until golden all over.Drain on paper towels.
Using the same pan, heat oil again then add ginger, garlic and onions.cook over medium heat or until the onions are soft.Add all the powders and cook until fragrant.stir in tomato paste, then add the flour.stir to combine, then gradually pour in the stock making sure that no lumps form, now put the sausages and bay leaves and bring it to simmer and cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes or until thickened.serve with rice or chappathi.
